Pink area covers the area of Pano and Kato Gouves and Inland to Skotino

Pano Gouves is a small scenic village 2 kilometres far from the well known coastal tourist resort of Kato Gouves with long sandy beaches. A lively traditional village with lovely little tavernas only 20 minutes drive from Heraklion airport. Includes some small unknown and completely unspoiled areas which are still fortunately a well kept secret from tourists like Skotino village and the famous cave of Skotino etc. Kato Gouves has many amenities and there is a good bus route on the old National Road between Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos. At Kato Gouves it is worth visiting the ruins of a pottery workshop of the Minoan period.
