Lilac Area covers the North East part from Elounda to Milatos

Elounda is a bustling village which manages to retain its traditional charm and still embrace modern life. It is just few kilometres away from Agios Nikoalos town. Around the area there are many unspoiled villages and hamlets like Sirmeso, Kato Selles with a lovely beach, Nofalias etc. Driving towards this direction it gives you a great feeling of the real Cretan life and offers fantastic sea views. Of course remarkable is the small seaside village of Plaka with the popular sightseeing choice Spinalonga island opposite. The island of Spinalonga used to be a leper colony until the early 1900’s.

Neapoli is a town which is close to Elounda and other places with all facilities available. Milatos is a lovely fishing village which is unspoiled with nice traditional houses and a popular cave.

Generally the area is very easy accessible, it takes about an hour or less from Heraklion Airport.
