Agia is a small village and well known because it’s located next to one of the two fresh water lakes of Western Crete. It’s an excellent place for rare flower seekers, bird watchers and nature lovers. Close to the lake there are two new restaurants – cafes with beautiful views. On the main road there are several shops. Excellent access to Hania town (about 10 kilometres) over the good road Hania – Omalos. There is regular bus service into town, therefore ideal also for non-drivers.
